The Mystic Heart
May 29th, 2007
“The Mystic Heart” is a fascinating video dialog between catholic spiritual teacher Wayne Teasdale and Ken Wilber. They talk about their mystic experiences and thoughts on meditation, God, Universe, awareness, man and relations between these topics. I find it really nice to watch two people from different spiritual traditions who can find a common language and be so open and respectful to each other. As they show all religions and spiritual paths have the same root and essence.
Movie is split on 7 parts:
Evolution of Consciousness by Bentov
May 12th, 2007
Itzhak Bentov, a Czech born inventor and mystic was very interesting person. He tried to connect spirituality and physics or in other words tried to explain spiritual planes with tools of science. I have seen an interview with Bentov (not available on Google Video anymore), he was very nice and humble man.
What is important, Bentov never said his ideas are complete and ultimate truth. He said these ideas were only a model which needs to be verified and expanded. I highly recommend his books (Stalking the Wild Pendulum and A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness), they cover a lot of interesting topics on spirituality. Quite simple diagrams and his drawings regarding evolution, consciousness, universe, kundalini energy and meditation are easy to understand for everybody.
Bentov’s ideas (taken from Wikipedia):
- Our bodies are mirrors of the whole universe, at every level.
- Vibration permeates all things.
- The universe and all matter is made of consciousness in the process of developing to higher levels.
- Our brains are thought receivers and amplifiers, not the source of thought.
- All knowledge that has ever been generated is potentially available to us from other consciousnesses somewhere in the universe.
- The universe is a hologram. The brain is a hologram interpreting a holographic universe.
Mother Meera
April 28th, 2007

Mother Meera is widely known in the spiritual world as an Avatar of the Divine Mother, Divine Feminine (Shakti). She comes from India, but has spent the last 25 years in small village in Germany, where she gives darshans 4 evenings each week.
Devotees recognize her as an embodiment of the Light of Paramatman, the primal cause of everything that is. She works in silence, calling down the purest Light and giving it to others.

Power of Now
April 26th, 2007
“Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle is one of the most powerful and profound books I have ever read. Tolle describes how mind is constructed and how it works. When you read it for a very first time it can be quite hard to understand because our Ego tries to protect itself, trick or make excuses and the book reveals all of it. However if you are familiar with subject of consciousness and subconsciousness you will find this book very inspiring. If you use simple techniques described in this book you may feel more aware, your view of world and yourself can be wider and you can benefit having more peaceful mind.
Nobody before written such a good manual how to use our minds properly. Highly recommended.
